Pillar 01 — Custom printing
Every method below runs under one Kode work order, so a single job can carry four different techniques and still ship as one box, on one date, on one invoice.
Direct-to-film. Full-colour artwork with a white underbase, pressed onto anything — cotton, poly, blends, performance knit, nylon, canvas. Photographs, gradients and fine colour all survive the wash.
Transfer films · ready to pressForty-weight polyester, stitched to your file. Left chest, cap front, sleeve, back yoke, names and numbers. Digitizing is included and stays on file, so your second order matches your first stitch for stitch.
Multi-head · mid-runThe workhorse. Plastisol or water-based ink pulled through mesh, one colour per screen. Below about fifty pieces DTF wins on price; above it, nothing touches screen for cost per shirt or for hand.
On press · neon pullPoly twill or wool felt cut to shape, laid onto the garment and satin-stitched around the edge. The varsity, hockey and alumni look you cannot get from ink — and on a big chest hit it costs less than a full stitch-out.
Tackle twill · names & numbersEmbroidered, woven or leatherette, with a merrowed or laser-cut edge. Made to your spec with a heat-seal backing, so a patch programme can ship loose for you to press on, or come already heat-pressed onto the garment — never sewn.
Leatherette · woven · embroideredFlatbed UV in full colour for any hard surface, with a glossy top finish and a textured, raised feel. Waterproof and outdoor rated three years; hand wash, not dishwasher safe. Glass, metal, plastic, concrete, walls and cars — hard-hat labels, equipment decals, tumblers and the whole swag table.

Kode Garment Inc. sells blank apparel wholesale and decorates it to order. We keep a wide range of blanks in stock in Canada and manage the printing, stitching and packing from Newmarket, Ontario, so one order can come back plain, decorated or both.
Yes. Blanks are sold on their own at trade pricing: t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets and hats in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes, with no logos or emblems. Buy by the case or by the piece, with mixed sizes.
Screen printing, DTF (direct-to-film) printing, embroidery, appliqué and tackle twill, custom patches and UV-printed stickers. We also sell wholesale DTF and UV transfers on their own, for you to press yourself.
Wholesale DTF and UV transfers have no minimum — order what you need. Kode decoration on garments starts at 6 pieces for DTF and 6 pieces for embroidery. Screen-printed transfers start at 12 pieces, and patches at 12. Screen printing on garments carries a setup cost for each screen, which makes it the better value from about 50 pieces up. Appliqué minimums are job specific.
Screen printing suits runs of about 50 pieces or more in one to six solid colours matched to PMS. DTF suits full-colour artwork, photographs, gradients and short runs, on cotton, polyester, blends and nylon. Embroidery gives a stitched finish on left chests, cap fronts, sleeves and names and numbers; digitizing is a one-time $60 fee and your file is kept on record.
No. Kode does not private label: we do not remove manufacturer tags or add tagless neck labels. Garments ship with the tag they leave the mill with.
Wholesale DTF, screen and UV transfers typically turn around in 2 to 5 days once the order is processed, and rush or next-day service is available at extra cost. Kode decoration on garments runs 7 to 10 business days. Timing for patches, embroidery and appliqué depends on quantity and artwork, and every job gets a written quote inside one business day.
