Kode Garment Inc.
Shipping & tracking
Last updated
This policy explains how and when Kode Garment Inc. (“Kode”, “we”) ships your order, what it costs, and what to do if something goes wrong in transit.
Shipping policy
- Orders cannot be picked up at our shared warehouse locations.
- This policy covers in-stock items only. Kode does not backorder items.
- In-stock wholesale apparel ships once your order is confirmed. Decorated orders ship once production is finished: the turnaround for each service is shown on its order page.
- Our normal business days are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, except holidays.
We cannot control daily spikes in online orders or pre-holiday shopping (for example Christmas, when order volume builds from October 15 to December 23), so we cannot guarantee next-day shipment. Please call customer service at 905‑235‑9444 to discuss rush orders.
Confirmed means the order has passed card verification for in-stock merchandise, been received by our order system, passed fraud checks, and been reviewed and released by a customer service representative to the warehouse, or to production for a decorated order. This can take 10 to 25 minutes, sometimes longer. An order placed after hours is reviewed the next business day.
Your order confirmation email is sent automatically when you place the order. It does not mean the order has been reviewed and released for shipping. You will receive another email with tracking information when your package ships.
Please check your spam folder before contacting us: these automatic messages are sometimes flagged as spam by mistake.
Please plan ahead and avoid last-minute orders. Contact customer service with any questions about when your order will leave.
Ordered item is out of stock
Occasionally the stock on the warehouse floor differs from the stock shown on the website, for example while damaged items or returns are being processed. If an item is out of stock, customer service will let you know within 24 hours and offer to change the colour and/or size. If you do not change it, you will be offered a coupon for future use or, in some cases, a refund.
Split shipments
Kode’s wholesale apparel is stocked in several warehouses in Ontario and Quebec, and some brands also ship from Montreal and Vancouver. Stock shown online is the total available across Canada.
When your order includes styles from more than one warehouse, each warehouse ships its part separately. This is a split shipment: the parcels arrive on different days, each with its own tracking number. Shipping is charged per warehouse, and the cart shows it before you pay.
If you receive one part of a split shipment, please check your emails for the other tracking numbers before contacting customer service about a missing item.
Call customer service to arrange substitutions, shipping payment, or to ask about stock levels.
Delivery time
Most orders are delivered within 1 to 3 business days after they ship, depending on where you are in Canada. Addresses in the Toronto–Montreal corridor, and within an hour of most major Canadian cities, fall within this schedule. Outside established cities, 1 to 4 days can be added.
Kode does not assume liability for courier delays and cannot give refunds or discounts because of them. Kode only guarantees the date and time an order leaves the warehouse. Unforeseen internal or external delays and pre-holiday surges can happen, and we are not responsible for delays outside our control.
If your order is urgent, contact customer service before you place it, to make sure the shipping and delivery time is realistic.
Every order gets the carrier’s tracking number, with delivery updates on the carrier’s website.
We do not currently offer Purolator or UPS Saturday or weekend delivery. Neither carrier delivers on holidays: see the Purolator holiday schedule and the UPS holiday schedule.
Kode has no control over your package once it leaves the warehouse. From then on the carrier controls the delivery and its timeline, and Kode is not responsible for address changes or delivery delays. Please contact the carrier for delivery updates.
Residential address delivery waiver
Residential property theft is a growing problem in Canada. Kode Garment is not responsible if a delivered package is stolen from your property.
Kode ships through third-party carriers (Purolator and UPS). Once the package leaves the warehouse, the carrier is responsible for it, and we cannot accept responsibility for a service we have no control over. If your package is being delivered to a residential address, please make sure someone is there to receive it. If no one is at the address and the package is stolen, Kode is not responsible for the loss and will not replace or refund the order.
If the carrier tries to deliver and no one is there to receive the package, delivery will be delayed. Contact the carrier with your tracking number for updates.
Allow for carrier delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, especially on a rush order, and contact customer service with any questions.
Shipping costs
Shipping on wholesale apparel is calculated from the weight of the order and where it ships from. Add items to your cart with your postal code to see the shipping cost before you pay. Transfer and patch orders carry one freight charge per order, also shown in the cart.
Shipments to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or any location Purolator or UPS considers remote may cost more. If you are in a remote area, customer service will contact you with a quote from a courier that delivers there.
Extra freight and delivery charges
If additional transport costs apply, you are responsible for paying them. Carriers commonly charge extra for: a wrong delivery address provided by the customer, use of a tailgate, waiting time at delivery, delivery to a private residence, inside delivery, a second delivery attempt, and a refused delivery or an order not picked up at the carrier’s office within 5 days and returned to us, as well as remote area delivery. This list is not exhaustive.
PO boxes and APO/FPO/DPO
Kode does not ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Purolator and UPS shipping is available for all orders with a valid delivery address in Canada. We do not ship internationally.
You must enter a valid physical street address before your order is processed. Kode is not responsible for shipping costs caused by an incorrect address, or for the delays that follow. Please make every effort to let our carriers deliver your order.
If an order is returned to Kode, a 15% restocking charge and the freight charges involved will be deducted from any refund.
For these shipping errors, Kode may offer a refund as a Kode coupon code for future purchases. The coupon is a soft refund: the original invoiced amount less the restocking charge and any shipping or other fees. See our return and refund policy.
Claims and returns
Before accepting delivery, please make sure the packaging has not been damaged or tampered with. If you believe the merchandise is not in good condition, or the packaging has been tampered with or damaged, refuse the delivery and call customer service at 905‑235‑9444 (Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, except holidays) to request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #). This service is not available on weekends and holidays. We will make our best effort to send a replacement as soon as possible.
For more detail, see our return and refund policy.
International shipping
We do not ship outside Canada.
